Worldside Conference Weekend - October 4,5 2014

My week was awesome. So I'm with my homie muir and we are just getting ready to kill it. We don't have a lot of investigators right now, and this zone needs alot of work. They average  4 baptisms  a month as a zone. Pretty down haha. Oh on a good note my last zone in Salina Cruz doubled the amount of baptisms as any other zone and baptized 22!!!! The most by a single zone in like more then a year! That was a miracle by itself!! But to be honest I am so excited to be in this zone. It's definitely a zone that needs some animation!  With muir we are just going to get it. He is my first comp that actually wants to go all out and get it done like me :D   I'm just so excited!! :D   My new area is kind of chilly. It's awesome!! The view is awesome  It's a nice area (which is weird). I have heated water!!! AND I'm not always sweating!!! It's sick! haha but the people are a little better off and so they are a little bit more difficult to get to. But I'm excited for the challenge.  Love you guys. Keep being awesome!! What did you like most about conference???

Love, Elder Davenport

  1. Wow 22 baptisms that was awesome! Goodluck on this new zone! They are so lucky to have you there!! Conference was fantastic!! We loved Elder D Uchtdorf's talk - loved the talk on the Sacrament - loved the talk about staying in the boat, gospel; wearing a life jacket, read scriptures; and holding on with both hands with all your might, pray. Loved them all. We felt HF's spirit profoundly. What a joy this gospel brings. Thank you so much Elder D - you are a gift giver and we love how you are presenting this gift to the world with such a joyful countenance. We love you - your Grandpa Wengreen is up in heaven watching over you now being so proud!
