Time a Flying - February 10, 2014

Well first of all my comp is deader then a dead dog on the street! and thats pretty dead haha anyways I have been pulling him around on a leash teaching every lesson solo planning everything. and he just doesn't want to do anything. He has this rule that after every baptism he takes the next week off.. but we are still putting in the grind, and we are going to have two new baptisms this week! woo! Im determined to resurect his enthusiasm, haha.. anyways we had a way cool experience this week!
One of the potential baptisms came to church 5 weeks in a row, and then he told us he wanted to be baptised! but then we didn't see him for 5 weeks.. but then he showed up to church yesterday, and told us that he went through some rough things, and also had a new job where he had to work on Sundays, and that he was praying the night before, and he received an answer that he needs to be baptised. Then he talked to his boss to see if he could change his hours and he could go to church and then he was bearing his testimony about the church and his testimony made me start to cry.. I am officailly a baby haha and then he told me thank you for the text messages they really helped me out and helped me find this happiness i feel now. It was the first time that I had felt the spirit that strong on my mission. Gosh I hope his baptism pans out!
well my life is routine.. we have good days, lots of bad days, but in the end we have success through our hard work just like life. Oh actually I changed my life up a little bit.  Bought 7 new pens different colors to change the day from day to day! Yeah I'm different haha.  Well I feel pretty dang confident with my Spanish. I don't know how I didn't think I could even imagine feeling this one day. haha I thinks it's cause the only time I use English is these Mondays haha.
Well I love you guys! This church is true :)

  1. This is a story about what we are taught as members of the church of Jesus Christ:

A church leader was asked what is hell like? The Bishop said, " It is simple. Picture a table with wonderful food on it surrounded by hundreds of people. They each, however, have arms that are stiff and outstretched unable to bend. The folks could not get any food to eat. All they could do was to watch the wonderful food that they could never ever, ever reach. For ever tormented for ever more."

The Bishop was then asked, " What then is heaven like?" He said, "It is simple. Picture a table with wonderful food on it surrounded by hundreds of people. They each, however, have the same stiff arms outstretched unable to bend. The difference is that they were taught on earth to give their lives to serving others and they automatically knew that all they had to do is to feed their neighbors and friends and they would would live in joy and happiness for evermore." As an example this week we had an snow plus a terrible ice storm that took out electricity for several days and everyone was taken care of by members of the church. That is what we do. Serve and love each other as the Savior taught us. We love you Elder in your service to others. Love your Grandmom and Grandpop.
