May 30, 2015 Love Baptisms!!! Love Sealings!! Love These People!!!

Ok, this week was AWESOME!!! :D So to start off, our recent convert family fulfilled a year, and we gave them the temple lessons, and after a few weeks to clear every thing up they got sealed!! :D So special! I got to invite the missionaries who baptized them (my excomp Elder Muir), and they came all the way to see it. It was SO special to watch them get sealed to their two little kids. gosh it was the best feeling, and then they just started crying. It was the coolest feeling ever :)

Also my investigator Messias, whose parents threatened to kick him out of the house 3 months ago, is going to get baptized today at 7 :D It was a tough battle to get him to get baptized, but he finally will do it :)

Also found this family of 3 who accepted a date to get baptized, and then they went to church and loved it :D Super golden! They have  4 little tiny kids too who all loved it.

Above are great photos of our missionaries and one sad photo of people who need the gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives.
Also umm.. I love you guys :DD

  1. Hello Elder Grandson!!

I am getting your emails and pictures into your blog but we are so so so so busy I have not had time to respond. Amazing but true. Really what happens is we come home and we die. We are exhausted! Ho! We have had a wonderful experience. So much to tell you. We did an event through our Public Affairs office that we know is going to start the process of our missionaries being allowed in a muslim country called Azerbaijan. It was a surprise event that just happened out of the blue and Granddad and I were part of it which was so cool. Close to 800 people we think showed up at the LA Stake Center which is the only ward building of its kind. It looks like a temple. The people were all muslims and jews for the first time in an LDS venue. The PR that occurred was just awesome!

We were involved with setting up an event at Larry King’s home to honor the LA Sheriff whose department is the largest in the country. We also are the RSVP receivers for Mormon Night at the Dodgers as we have invited Consuls Generals and Church leaders from around the city to get free tickets from our office. So we do a lot of PR which is just pure fun. All this helps our missionaries get visas easier when we gain countries’ trust. Also I Grandmom have been put in charge of California and Hawaii’s Just Serve Program which is huge. I have a training call with 7 stake presidents next Sunday with an area Seventy that I am in charge of. So I get to do things I love doing. Grandpa arranges for all the flights and details of our bosses travel and the expenses. He and I attend meetings of interfaith groups to again join with them as we all work towards religious freedom here in the USA -

Wish we could be there when you come home! Love your emails. You inspire us all. Love and hugs, Grandmom and Granddad
