May 11, 2014

This week was so up and down! We are so close to having alot of really awesome progressing investigators, but alot of things that we had no control happened.. so that was tough. It's just like one second of the day is like wow that was awesome, we are going to have a lot of success, and then the other half is like dang that sucked, we have no one, haha, but in the end God always has our back with a small miracle to lift our spirits! Just realized that one of our coolest investigators is a muslim, and is wife is a Jehovah Witness which are the two most impossible people to convert so yeh I am excited. Hope that turns out good!! But besides that I am still really dirty all the time. I am just waiting for a day to shower with clean water haha. I am tempted to go buy some bottled water, and fill up a bucket and use that haha, but its not that bad but still I am sweating buckets and still here doing the best I can every day!
PS I LOVED TALKING TO YOU GUYS :)

Love, ELDER DAVENPORT

  1. Dear Elder Grandson, You are amazing! I cannot imagine how tough your mission must be. Keep on working hard and stay close to Heavenly Father no matter how hard. If you can do this mission, you can do anything! Yes we want to go on a mission and you have set the standard. We hope when we get to go that we can work as hard as you and be able to be as strong no matter what the conditions. We have some friends that have been sent to Africa and it has really been challenging there. The missionaries are getting malaria and the country's moral standards are really a challenge to the mission. The native missionaries have a difficult time to live the churches standards. But they love their mission as the people are loving to them. We love you. Have a blessed week, Grandmom and Grandpa Davenport
