February 22, 2015 - A Family Getting Baptized!

So Im still in the battle of trying to find a pulse on my comp. I feel like I'm trying to resurrect a zombie like  that one movie with the zombie who turned back into a normal person. haha.

But I just told him look I will baptize with or without you haha. So that's what we will do! So finally the judge approved Victor and Librada to get married!! WOOHOO!!! SO HAPPY :DDD So this Saturday they are going to get baptized with there 2 little kids Soledad and Angel! And I'm hoping that this will also motivate my companion to want to work hard!

This week we went hard with service  and we were cutting down trees, and I got hit in the face with a piece of wood... yeah it sucked haha. If I was playing football it would of been sick (cool :)),but as a missionary I just look scary looking with blood all over my face haha. So I have been walking with a bandaid between my eyes haha. 

But Im happy going hard. You guys should watch "Meet the Mormons" :D

February 14, 2015 Valentines Day!!

So this week I really saw my comps true colors.. I'm back on babysitting duty.. He is a little kid that someone took off the street and made him a missionary. haha He looked a little down, and I was like hey man what's wrong and he seriously said we are working too hard can we go watch a movie with some members?... He is really fighting to being a missioinary right now. So but in the meantime our area is awesome! We are having alot of success finding alot of people and our people with their baptism dates are progressing. All we are waiting for now is to have the judge get them married. which in Mexico to marry someone is like trying to have Obama lower taxes. I actually don't know the answer to that one. But Im happy just enjoying babysitting my comp yay.. haha

New Area!! - February 8, 2015

This week was awesome! But to be honest I was a little sad because I left my area, and I know that the President always sends down zone leaders to train or banysit at the end of their missions (at least my new pres), but I honestly wanted one more transfer in Bosque. but oh well. My comp is a little rebellious and dead, and he just killed this area. They haven't had a baptism in 6 monthes. But the cool thing is that he is homies with like everyone (because he just loves to hang out with people) and so with his friends we sat down and taught them, and put 5 dates for baptism and one's a family of 4!! So I'm super pumped. I can see that I was meant to get sent here. God has a reason for everything. And this ward is super cool. I have realized that we just have to trust in God and do what he wants because he knows more then us. Keep doing your best and remember do Gods will and not your own.

FUN STORY

Finally got in a fight woot woot. SO some vato or some ah.. sorry can't think of a word to call a bad guy in English haha, but anyways this bad guy like 6 7 was like drunk high and out of it yelling at his wife in the middle of the street. We finally had a chance to show this guy who's boss (no, I'm just kidding haha), but we couldn't just stand there as he started to beat his wife. So we walked up to him to tell him back off. But then the guy whipped out a knife or scissors or something sharp and starts walking towards us. Then he started to rip off his clothes and cut them in the middle of the street yelling in some Indian language. To be honest I thought he was going to attack us haha and then when we saw the girl start running away we realized we did our job, and started to try to walk away from the guy slowly hahaha, but then he freaked out and started chasing his wife! and then half way through he like forgot what he was doing and walked inside a bar on the way..

We actually contacted the girl and made an appointment with her!!

and then I went home and changed my pants.. hahaha

sorry haha maybe that part I should not of mentioned...

Sorry I didnt write last week. I was doing alot of paper work and goal setting last week.

So update!!

The missionaries from my area are opening Calpulalpan for procelyting, and they are going to start that this week. We have Juana and her 3 kids hooked on baptism for this week!!! WOOH and my rapstar investigator accepted a date to get baptised. Plus Ana Maria will get baptised in two weeks.  I have a calender hooked up to have a member come with us everyday!!..

Now the bad news.. I got changed.. or transfered I only have time for one more area, and I wanted to end my mission going hard in the paint. So now I'm a district leader and I will have alot more time to work in my area, and not go to bed at 1130 :D. YES so I'm excited. WAY sad because I loved my area, and we were working so well. Oh well that's life. My new companion is from Honduras named Elder Rodriguez
