More About Hermana Mago. Amazing Story

My week was pretty interesting. The battle for the Sister Mago was a battle as always.. haha she got chivied or like freaked out and super nervous, but we have a super awesome Relief Society President who came with us to the lesson and got her animated again. But then the day of the baptism happened and it just went nuts, and was the most sketch baptism ever. So this sister is older, has a quarter of a lung left, and is terrified of water, and she can't get baptised in cold water because she might die, oh and she has knee problems, and can't bend her knees, and she is extremly round. So it was just a battle. Nuf said haha. So we were both going to baptize her because she was so large, (which was the best decision we ever made) and we put a chair into the font to baptize her. But the first time, half her body floated, and didn't go in and only dunked her head in, but she freaked out under the water, and inhaled water. and like almost like died... it was aweful. Then when she calmed down she was like I will not get baptized if I have to do that again. but we closed the font and had like the greatest 4th quarter pep talk ever, and she decided to try again and we brought a smaller chair in, and but then we realized that wasn't going to work either, and then the third time we ditched the chair, and I basically held the woman underneath the water and I looked up, and I could see all  the people outside just praying super hard including her family who aren't members, but die hard catholics.  I was praying so hard because, to be honest, I didn't know how I was going to get her out of the water if we got her under because I was like carrying her.  But then this woman showed more faith and willingness then I had ever seen, (you could just see the fear on her face) and put all her trust in me that I could get her out (she weighed close to 300 pounds) and then we went through with the baptism and I  pushed her under and then went under the water myself (that must of been how alma felt in the book of mormon haha), and then I don't know how but we got her out, and she came out and was just sobbing and then (sorry it finally happened on my mission) we just hugged in the font with her just sobbing and saying thank you. It really touched my heart, but she was so happy. It was the greatest act of faith I had ever seen :) and offically the coolest most special baptism i ever had, just comes to show that the coolest moment is always still to come. I had changes this week. Elder Muir went to my old area is Salina Cruz and my new comp will be one of my homies Elder Luna. I'm pumped! Sadley we aren't expecting a baptism tell  next week. But Im just super happy.

Josephina's Baptism - Great Lady!!! Dec 7. 2014

Another Baptism! Yahoo December 6, 2014

Hey, how are you guys doing??
Me. I am chill and well just kicking it here in Mexico.

Anyways, A little bit about my week!!

So this week JOSEFINA GOT DUNKED!!! She really had one hard week though, which always happens the week of a baptism. Her 14 year old daughter in law just decided she didn't want to take care of the baby so Josefina decided she was going to take in the baby til the girl decides to accept the life she chose, and stopped working. Plus her daughter who is a member got in a big fight with her, and she was super sad and depressed and wasn't going to get baptized, but then this women decided to show her faith in God and go through with the baptism even with all the problems that she was having. Then like a miracle  happened the day of her baptism. Everything came together, and she fixed things with her daughter and her daughter in law decided to take care of the baby again. and then she had an awesome baptism. and then to top things off the Hermana Mago who we have been fighting, to get her baptised (she was the one that was scared of her family and she still worshipped the virgen and drank coffee).  Well she received her answer, stopped drinking coffee, and talked to her sister and family who said they would sopport her for her baptism!! And then she saw Josefina's baptism and now she is going to get baptized this week :D Yeah super excited plus she has a family of like 40 living with her, and since she is the boss or the grandma of every one, I think that they will follow her example :D I am so excited!. We have the Christmas concert coming up again (this year Im NOT going to be a tree.. ) haha but alls good in zion

Love you guys :D

Busy Week - November 29.2014

Alrighty, this week was a pretty good week. We had a reward week! haha! We have been grinding it out, and finally the blessings came. We finally got Juana to church. Her "husband" finally moved out, and her Little kids are finally all going to church together! It's intersting because these kids are like devils when they don't go to church .haha! Well they have probably the worst examples ever! haha! Their brother, who was raised by her ex husband, grew up exactly like his dad, and now he has two kids at 19, and beats his kids and his wife, and is the meanest guy in the world to his wife and well everyone.  Mago is getting better. The only thing that's holding her back from baptism is her family. They are saying that if she gets baptized they will stop talking to her.. but she says she is almost ready to take the step. Sister Josefina has really stepped it up. She has had a lot of problems. Her kids' girlfriend Melany (barely turned 15) just had a baby, and it means that Josefina has to take care of two little girls. The new infant and also Melany who acts like any 14 year old girl. haha! You guys know how it is haha, but yeah she is holding strong, and says she wants to get baptized this Saturday!!! I'm really excited!! We also found this awesome kid named Jesús. He is a stud. He went to church the day after we found him. We are actually having alot of success, but the thing is getting these people to go to church 5 times!! Gosh sometimes its super hard, haha, but oh well. Do what you got to do!
I'm happy, and I hope you are all happy too :)
